1. INTRODUCTION
Word Processing is the most common job in an office environment. You will find this as an essential and interesting tool in your day-to-day life. In this course, we are dealing with the word processor MS-Word which works in Windows environment.

2. OBJECTIVES
After reading through this course you will be able to:

  • catering to the needs of students from backward areas where formal mode of teaching in computer science is not available.
  • open the scope for the employed who have no time to attend regular classes
  • provide vocational education at the secondary level

3. JOB OPPORTUNITIES
After passing through this course, students can go for self-employment or wage employment. They can find the job of a Data Entry Operator and any other similar kind of job.

4. COURSE DURATION
The duration of the course is one year. [The credit can be transferred as against any one academic course.

Scheme of study:
Theory 40% and Practical 60%

5. ENTRY QUALIFICATION
Educational Qualification : 8th Pass

6. PASSING CRITERIA
Minimum 33% combined in theory and Practical
